Maha govt proposes 16% quota for Marathas

The Maharashtra government on Thursday proposed 16% quota for the Maratha community under 'Socially and Educationally Backward' category. The state government tabled the action taken report (ATR) on the State Backward Class Commission's recommendations for Maratha quota.
